Uniform Stabilization of Beams by  means of
                   Pointwise Feedbacks

In this paper we prove the uniform stabilization 
of beams with pointwise dissipation. We show 
the exponentiel decay of the energy of solutions. 
We also prove  that this result is optimal
in the sens that we can not get uniform stabilization 
if we apply dissipation  in one point which is at the
same time nodal and trinodal.
