We propose and analize a numerical scheme, based on P1 finite-element with mass lumping, for a degenerated parabolic equation. The scheme allows us to deal with degeneracy and anisotropy on general meshes. Moreover the scheme preserves at the discrete level some essential properties of the continuous system, such as for example the dissipation of the physical energy. Finally we give some numerical results to illustrate the efficiency of the method. This is a joined work with Clément Cancès and Martin Vohralik.
