Minicourse on Mathematics of EmergingBiomedical Imaging III11, rue Pierre et Marie Curie - Paris 5ème February 4, 5, 6 2009
More and more, the mathematical sciences are contributing to advances in certain areas of biomedical imaging, a trend that will grow in the future. In this three-day minicourse, mathematicians and biomedical researchers are paired to review the state-of the-art of mathematics of imaging biological tissues and to share mathematical insights regarding future research directions in this growing discipline. Particular emphasis will be placed this year on fluorescence microscopy, thermo-acoustic computed tomography, image analysis, and image processing. |
