Résumés

Thierry Huillet : I will introduce the ideas of duality and intertwining relative to discrete-time finite ergodic Markov chains (in the spirit of Diaconis and Fill). As an illustration, I will first describe the Siegmund dual of the Moran model with mutations before switching to some extensions. These considerations apply to models such as Wright-Fisher's, not in the class of birth and death chains. This circle of ideas is useful for the study of strong stationary times.
