This is a wxWidget based version. That means that LastWave is truly multiplatform (including windows of course). It also of course includes many other enhancements.
The Signal Processing Command Language LastWave is a signal processing (wavelet oriented) software. It is written in C and based on the GNU wxWidgets library. It runs on Unix/Linux, Windows XP SP2 and Macintosh OSX computers. It has been designed to be used by anybody who knows about signal processing. It mainly consists in a powerful command line script language and some high level object oriented displays (of signals, images, wavelet transforms, extrema representation, ....) that can be easily fully controlled (along with the mouse behavior and all the events) via the command language. One can easily add some new commands in LastWave using either the command language itself or the C-language.
