MMNS Workshop on
Inverse Problems for Waves: Methods and Applications
March 29 - March 30, 2010,
Ecole Polytechnique , Palaiseau, France
The topic of this years' MMNS spring workshop are inverse problems related to wave propagation.
Several directions of reserach are related to this issue, both from the view of methodologies and applications.
This workshop aims at bringing together current fields of interest in inverse problems related to wave propagation, to exchange recent results, and to provide an overview on the field.
Topics met during this workshop include sampling methods, iterative and non-linear optimization methods, asymptotic methods, as well as hybrid methods. Further topics are inverse problems for time-dependent waves, in near-field optics, for rough surfaces and in impedance tomography.
There will be several poster sessions which should broaden the view on current developments in inverse problems and allow young researchers to present their work. Inscription for poster sessions is closed!
The registration deadline is over. You can nevertheless inscribe yourself, but we cannot guarantee that all conference services (book of abstracts, name badge, ...) will be available to you. If you plan to visit the conference, please inscribe for that we know the number of participants!
We wish to thank the Chaire Modélisation Mathématique & Simulation Numérique of CMAP Ecole Polytechnique and INRIA Saclay Ile de France for kindly supporting this workshop. Further, we wish to thank GAMNI/SMAI for scientific patronage of this event.
