Research projects will be available in CIRM from 23th july to 31th august. The principal goal is to gather researchers interested in the modelisation, the numerical simulation of multi-scale problems. Small research teams should bring out complementary results on industrial projects. These projects are mainly proposed by industries and research institutes. Every project covers an initial stage corresponding to the mathematical formulation up to the last stage which is devoted to numerical resolution of the project. A Large range of computers and software facilities will be available during the study center. We estimate a daily participation of approximately fourty researchers (juniors and seniors) during the summer school. Furthermore, daily seminars should permit to create stimulating interacions between different teams.
